CPE is a 2018 – 2019 Distinguished Club

Out of more than 16,000 Toastmasters clubs worldwide, Canyon Park Echoes (CPE) is a President’s Distinguished Club. We achieved this status for the past several years by focusing on education, membership, training, and administration – which benefits our members.

Test Drive a Meeting

Each Toastmasters club features a unique culture, so it’s important to find the club that fits your personality. Attending club meetings as a guest is free. You can visit as many clubs as you like until you are ready to join.

Laughter rings out at CPE meetings. We are committed to our club ‘culture’ of inclusiveness and openness – sprinkled generously with fun.

Because our members come from diverse backgrounds, meetings are interesting and engaging as we learn about each others’ customs and cultures.

Contact us today to find out more and let us know you are planning to visit!

Meeting Structure

We are a weekday, lunchtime Toastmasters club, so our one-hour meetings begin promptly at 12:00 pm (noon) and end right at 1:00 pm.

Many of our members are professionals who include attending Toastmasters meetings in their company personal development goals each year. This allows them to attend the meetings during the work day.

Part 1: Prepared Speeches

Pre-assigned speeches, typically 5 – 7 minutes in length, to help you craft your speaking style

Part 2: Table Topics: Micro-speeches

Fun, spontaneous questions with 1 – 2 minute answers that help you think and speak clearly on-your-feet

Part 3: Speech Peer Review

Kind, helpful review of the prepared speeches to provide actionable feedback

Once You Join

Once you join, we will help you every step of the way to improve your personal and business communication. You’ll be assigned a Toastmasters mentor (a senior club member) to help guide you through your personal Pathway as you advance your speaking skills. Your speech progress will be tracked, with awards along the way as you reach speaking milestones.
