Congratulations to Canyon Park Echoes club members Steve Beaumont & Julie Morton. They represented Canyon Park Echoes at the recent Area 54 Toastmasters Humorous Speech and Table Topics contest. Julie competed in a the highly competitive speech contest where she took the 2nd place prize! Steve competed in the always challenging Table Topics contest where he took the 1st place prize! Our club is proud of these two skilled club members and we are honored to have them represent us so well! Thank you for your hard work and effort!
Steve will now move on and compete in the Division E contest. The contest will be held on Oct 14th from 2:30 pm onwards at the Redmond Library.

Canyon Park Echoes will host their International Speech and Evaluation Contest on February 8th 2017. The lucky winners will then move on to compete at the Area 54 contest .
We all know volunteers are the backbone of Toastmasters and the contests are no exception. If you aren’t ready to jump in as a contestant, sign up to be a Ballot Counter, a Judge, or maybe a Greeter. However you choose to participate please mark it on your calendar and support your club, your Area, and your fellow Toastmasters!

Bothell 98021– as you come off the elevators on the 2nd floor, turn to your left, and we will direct you to the space we’re using.
It’s also commonly known as the Pacific Medical Building. It’s directly south of Panera at Thrashers Corner.
It’s on the corner of the Bothell-Everett Highway and 214th St SE (there is a light there).
Parking is tight. If you don’t find space, park in the retail lot where Panera and Red Robin are located. It’s an easy walk over to our building from there.
13th Anniversary Party—celebrating our grand history—will be the theme of our regular meeting this coming Wednesday, January 18th. We will recount some of our past history, and hopefully reminisce with some of our graduates (aka former members). If you know of anyone who used to attend, but doesn’t now, PLEASE ask that person (or persons) to come!
We won’t have a meal, but will have a cake celebration.
Most of the meeting will be centered around celebrating our 13 years. One of our two speeches will also be a GREAT look-ahead….you don’t want to miss it!
Anyone who has ever been a friend or member of the club is cordially invited to attend. Cake will be served. We will have fun memories of our club through the years. CPE “Graduates” will be specially recognized.
