The Canyon Park Echoes would like to welcome another fabulous new member. Linda is a real estate professional who is interested in developing even more poise under pressure. Although she is already comfortable speaking in front of groups, she realizes that becoming an excellent communicator is a journey of continuous improvement. “I was advised by a business coach to join something where I’d be meeting with other professionals and Toastmasters sounded like the most fun,” she said at a recent meeting. Welcome Linda, we hope you have lots of fun with our group here in Bothell.
Also new to the Canyon Park Echoes, but not new to Toastmasters is Sridhar Seshadri. Sri is an experienced speaker and leader (currently both ACG adn ABL) and is also a member of Bauer Speaks Easy Club and the AhT&T club.
“I joined Canyon Park Echoes to continue my Toastmaster Journey to become even better communicator and leader,” he says. “Canyon Echoes being close to home, I think I could give my best. I also get an opportunity to know new people and friends at Toasmasters. My hobbies are playing Chess and ping pong. I have two lovely daughters and a beautiful wife.”
Thank you for joining us, Sri! We are lucky to add your experience to our team and look forward to growing together in the future.
Please help me welcome one of our newest members: Panasonic employee Kelly Thompson. Kelly says that she joined Toasmasters because she enjoys the challenege and creativity of writing and public speaking. “Like so many people my schedule is full with work and kids, and it was time to build in some fun just for me. So here I am and it looks like I landed in a great group. Looking forward to coming months.”
Welcome to the Canyon Park Echoes Kelly! We are looking forward to getting to know you better through your icebreaker 🙂
I am happy to introduce Paula Freeman, one of our newest Canyon Park Echoes Members. As a professional life coach, she says she is excited to join Toastmasters. “As I grow my business, I am learning that it would be a valuable asset for me to readily say yes to speaking engagements.” She wants to be relaxed and comfortable with speaking in front of groups. She also wants to be able to learn more about persuasive speeches. Over the next few weeks, be sure to reach out and welcome Paula to the club.
