Canyon Park Echoes Toastmaster, Kate Ananson, Wins 2019 District 2 Evaluation Contest

KateTMEvalDistrict2019b

Canyon Park Echoes Toastmaster, Kate Ananson, secured our club’s first-ever District Level Trophy at the 2019 District 2 Evaluation Spring Contest.

Kate bested her competitors, earning first place for all of the 197 Toastmasters clubs in District 2!

During the contest, Kate observed a 5-7 minute speech, analyzed the speaker and speech, composed her evaluation, and then presented her 2-3 minute evaluation speech.

As a first-time competitor, Kate extolled her experience, “Competing at this year’s District Conference as an evaluator was such a great experience! I was nervous, but in typical Toastmasters style, immediately found that everyone around me was wonderful and supportive. Listening to the opening and keynote speakers was incredibly valuable, as was hearing the best-of-the-best speakers from around our District. This being my first conference, I had no idea what to expect going in, but I am so excited to attend next year’s Conference!”

Congratulations on a job well done, Kate. Canyon Park Echoes Toastmasters are proud of your accomplishment.
