Canyon Park Echoes will be holding 2 contests in September: Table Topics Contest & Humorous Speech Contest. Everyone is invited to participate in one or both of them!
The Table Topics Contest will be 9/1, and the Humorous Speech Contest will be 9/8
Any club member can be a contestant in the Table Topics Contest. No preparation necessary–all contestants will be given the same question. Contestants in the Humorous Speech Contest must have given at least 6 speeches, and can polish up an old speech or create a brand-new one.
Winners of the club contest will represent our club in the Area 54 contest. Winners there will compete in the Division E contest, and the winners there will contend at the District 2 Contest at the Fall Conference in November. This is a unique opportunity to learn and grow as a Toastmaster. (And it’s lots of fun too!)
